As the holidays are swiftly approaching, I wanted to write a little note to wish you all a glorious and cheerful holiday season. Hole up with your loved ones, watch movies, eat delicious things, and cross your fingers that you get a Snuggie from that special someone.

A Very Vancougar Christmas. My sister’s band, Vancougar, have been getting together for the past 8 Christmases to celebrate with one another, and for the first time ever have extended the invitation to everybody! The event also supports the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (DEWC), with donations of items accepted at the door in exchange for $1.00 off the cover charge of $10. Bring 10 items, get in for free! To sweeten the deal further, there will be a raffle draw for fabulous prizes, and giveaways all night long. Weathered Pines will be contributing a copy of our LP, The Sky Between the Buildings, for a lucky winner. Wowee!
